Well i am a little late telling you that regular season has started. The Astros got off to a bad start. They lost their first 8 games. Not only that they did not have Berkman for the first 10. Well they seem to be setteling in and are starting to turn it around. They are now 8-10 under new manager Brad Mills, and got their first series sweep this weekend against the Pirates. They are off today, and then the Reds come to town tomorrow for a 3 game series. Stayed tuned Astros fans for more.

Well the Astros have not ha d a very good start to the season. We are in last place at 10 - 21. They did however win on mother's day. They start a 3 game series in St Louis against the Cardnials today. Looks like it might be a long season. So lets sit back relax and hope for the best. Until next time.....

Well Astros fans if you are keeping up we are not doing very good. Second to last in the division and still under .500.

There are a couple of bright sides right now. They have called up their #1 draft pick from 2008. Catcher Jason Castro has made it. He came up through the ranks quickly to make it to the show. He came up tuesday and has already got his first big league hit and homer. So hopefully he is here to stay. Also brought up a couple of other young guys from Round Rock. They are doing well also. We will keep an eye on them.

Well it has been a month since my last update. The Astros have been fairing ok. Winning some losing some. Right now they are trying to rebuild. THey have traded off starting pitcher Roy Oswalt to the Phillies for a starting pitcher and some prospects. Now there are talks that they might be sending Lance Berkman to the New York Yankees. I have not heard all the details yet as to what they will be getting for him.

You know it is hard to see Astros icons like these go somewhere else. It will be weird to see Oswalt in a Philliy uniform and then to see Berkman in Yankees pinstripes man not sure about that one :what:. Oh well lets see what they do.
