My best description of Epik High would have to be..."art". This hip-hop group from South Korea has completely captured my mind, with their amazing beats and poetic lyrics. This isn't the stuff you hear on the radio, people. This is real music, with actual emotion. Subtitles are included in most videos, so you can understand what the group is saying. A few examples:

A live version of "Fly", one of their biggest hits. It even made it into the soccer game "FIFA 2007". I would link to the original video for it, as it's much more satisfying to hear the song in a high-quality format, but, as I've noticed, it's quite...violent, near the end. I'd give it a TV-14 rating. Nothing worse than you'd see on your typical episode of Law and Order. The song is actually quite inspirational, urging listeners to "fly" and overcome the obstacles in live, no matter how cruel they may be.
Can be found on their album "Swan Songs".

Next is "Pieces Of You", a moving piece that seems to be a musical representation of a romantic poem. You have to hear it for yourself. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
Can be found on their album "Pieces Part One".

Next is "Paris", another hit. I honestly don't know what the song is about, due to a lack of subtitled videos, but it has a catchy beat, and upbeat lyrics. Again, this is a live performance. There is an official video, but it's fairly dark and depressing, and this is to promote the group, not turn people away because they're a bit dark when it comes to their videos!
Can be found on their album "Swan Songs".

Almost at the end, folks. This next song is "Daydream". Yet another that I have no knowledge of in the lyrics department. Well, I did put the Korean lyrics through Google Translate, and the basic theme seems to be that unemployment is far from the worst that can happen to you, so, when you're sad, sing a happy song!
Can be found on their album "High Society".

Second-to-last on this list is "Girl", a song about the pain one feels after a breakup with a companion. Subtitles are included here, and will be for the remainder of the songs.
Can be found on their album "Pieces, Part One".
This last one may not appeal to everyone, due to the large number of expletives contained within. With that fair warning given, click at your own risk.

Ah, when Epik High drops the gloves and shows that they know how to fight, with numerous curse words. "Breakdown Supreme Mix" is a complete redoing of one of their other songs, "Breakdown". The beat is basically the same, but the lyrics are completely different. This song can only be described with a smiley.

With that said, I end this small journey into the minds of Tablo, Mithra, and DJ Tukutz. There is so much more that I could share, but I'd rather leave it to you to discover. If you like the group, feel free to comment. If you don't, feel free to comment as well, but keep it in the vein of constructive criticism, please. If you think these three men have created the solution to the world's problems, PM me and I'll provide more awesome from their wide range of songs.
