Back in December at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Vaughn Gittin Jr. and 0-60 Magazine took some time out of their cross country road trip in a 2010 Ford Mustang GT to break the current Guinness World record for the longest drift. What they ended up doing was shattering the record of 4,137 feet with a monster 6,285 foot drift. The special thing about breaking the record is he did it in a completely stock 2010 Ford Mustang GT coupe with Falken Azenis ST-155 tires which withstood the 2 minutes of tire shredding drifting. Definately some pretty amazing stuff from a guy who has not been drifting for very long. Check out the complete video of the record breaking drift below:
