Moving on to the second part of my 2010 Ford Mustang review, we will cover the interior features and styling which have been considerable upgraded over previous models. The refreshed 2010 Ford Mustang interior offers four configurations, V-6, V-6 Premium, Premium GT and GT Premium. Standard features on all models include cruise control, tilt steering, air conditioning, CD audio system, folding rear seat and power windows. Additional components from these base standard features move up the 2010 Mustang price with the following trim levels, SE, Sport and SEL. If a fully loaded Mustang is what you are looking for than the GT Premium interior package is what you desire. It offers a myriad of options including six leather choices, Aluminum accents, Ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control, Ford SYNC, Navigation and 17-19-inch wheels to name a few.

Even though Ford has hit a home run with the interior refresh there are still some faults which Ford has yet to improve upon from previous model years. A big criticism according to Consumer Guide has to do with the main gauges which "can be partially obscured by the driver's hands on the steering wheel,". I would have to agree being an owner of a Shelby GT, the gauges being hidden cause me to shift and move my head to try and read the instruments which make for an unsafe situation. Another default has to do with Manual transmissions and cup holders, unfortunately these two don't mix well. It's ok if your cup holders are empty but if you have a drink your elbow or arm seems to always bump up against the drink.

When talking about interior space inside a Mustang most people have this preconceived notion that as a sports car the space is limited but I think it's just the opposite. In my own experiences with 7 different Mustangs including my current Shelby GT, which is practically the same interior space, room inside the cabin is far better than previous models. Now when I say room inside the cabin I am talking about driver and passenger space not the back seat as most of us know it is usually reserved for small children or in my case a baby seat.

With all the improvements, new options and features the 2010 Mustang interior has been improved upon 10 times over and should be well received from all who purchase one.
