My group goes to North Star Dragway in Denton, TX a few times each season. I have several pictures from previous outings and even a few track videos. I'll see what I can dig up.

There is a new all concrete 1/4 mile track in Crandall. Checking out the new track is definitely on my to do list for this summer.

I go. The last time I went was in Houston at Fun Ford Weekend 2007. I got 1st Place in the Street Ford Bracket out of 100 + cars in the field.

My best time ever was at SAR in November 2006. I ran a 12.92 @ 106.18.

I have been in the Cobra but I didn't run it. I let the hubby run it and I hung out with the other wives. :) LOL! I haven't run it again since we put all the new mods on it. Last I ran it ran a 12.866 and that was just babying it down the track because we didn't want to bust the rear end. He let off a little because there was really bad wheel hop. Anyway, here is a vid of the Cobra's first run down the track before all my mods. :D

went last saturday with a group of friends to north star dragway in denton.

got my night cut short real quick by a track official for running too fast without a helmet. i'm now in the process of finding an affordable properly rated helmet.

How many of you go to the Midnite Madness events...or any other San Antonio Raceway event on a regular basis for that matter? I've only been to Midnite Madness, but the three times I've been, my car has not been ready to run for one reason or another.

i took my fox to the 1/8th to see what it would do best time was a 9.70 i'll hunt up a vid i'm sure i got one some where.

In 2001, my Bullitt ran a 14.2 @ 99mph with 1,250 miles on the motor. It was bone stock at the time, paper filter & stock tire pressure. This was in Upstate NY at Lebanon Valley dragstrip. I'd like to see what it does down here at a lower elevation with all the mods I've added over the years.
