You know I want to post this in Memory of my Brother Felix AKA (Speedy Gonzales) that was his name in the Marine Corps . He joined the Marine's and the next day his draft papers came so he knew it was going to happen and my Mom back then didn't want him to join but he told her either i join before the draft me which was a good thing to join back then. He served in Vietnam and got injured really bad by a machine gun round then they came and tried to finish him off with the knife, 18 mos in a Corpus Christi Hospital he had to learn how to walk and everything yea i remember I was just 5 back them. Anyway he has since passed on, but the stories are still with me. When he came to visit you didn't come into the house at night, he'd jump you in a flash. His platoon told us that he saved a lot of them and helped keep there spirits up. One thing he always told me keep was, keep la family together sis. And keep my Gonzales name in as my middle name and I have tried to do both. So thank you to all the military for keeping us safe.
